Candida die-off
For the first few days or weeks of treating a candida infection, you may feel worse. As the yeasts die off they release toxins quicker than your body can eliminate them, causing fatigue, aches, pains and headaches. Drink plenty of water and herbal teas. A chronic candida infection may take months to heal.
If you have a severe sugar addiction, it can take as long as 12-18 months to completely get over the addiction.
