I had keratosis on my forehead, ears, and legs. it was unsightly, and nothing I did seemed to be able to get rid of them - just the opposite, each year they were getting worse. When my doctor did a routine blood test for an annual checkup, we discovered that my vitamin D was severely low, even by the pathology lab's standard (which is low). I live in a warm sunny place so no excuses, the very next day I stripped off at lunchtime and was out in the sun. Within days there was a noticable improvement in my skin, and after a couple of months the keratoses had virtually disappeared. Sunlight is the best source of vitamin D!
