I've been using water Kefir for a little over a week now. I am lactose intolerant and I only take a couple of tablespoons a day of Kefir water. I still have problems with loose bowls, some days I go six or seven times a day and other days not at all. But my energy has really improved, I'm 64 and can't believe the difference it has mad in my energy, also it has taken all my sugar cravings away. I've heard that the more messed up your gut is the longer it takes for Kefir to help straighten you out. So I'm still waiting for that part. But overall I feel so much better. I also think it has helped my arthritis and fibromialgia a little. My daughter is the one that discovered Kefir and she is doing really well, she has been very regular with it and says her energy level and sugar cravings have stopped also. Her husband calls her the energize bunny.
