I have had some kefir grains in my refrigerator for many years, most mornings I have half a cup of kefir with my breakfast (on oats or fruit). The kefir is a pro-biotic, a nourishing source of protein, and very easy to digest. I regard it as a long-term, preventative type remedy - something that makes a difference to health and digestive power after using it for years
