MSM is a good source of sulphur, an essential element that is often forgotten in the diet. MSM is harmless and seems to have no side-effects, so it is well worth trying it if you have an ailment that may be helped with sulphur. Garlic, onion, and cruciferous vegetables (cauliflower, cabbage, brussels sprouts, radish, kale, turnip, collard, watercress) are good sources of sulphur, but sometimes you need more. In my case MSM helped only marginally, but the real help came with zinc sulphate. But remember, everyone is different.
