YES Peppermint helps relieve motion sickness. If you have some peppermint growing in your garden, pick some leaves and make a tea with them. You can drink it before travelling, and take the tea with you to drink while travelling.
Peppermint essential oil is very effective. Buy a high quality steam-distilled oil. You can add 1-2 drops to a glass of drinking water, or rub a drop or two in the palms of the hands,and then breathe in from the cupped hands. You can also massage one or two drops on the forehead or temples, but first test it on the skin for sensitivity, when it may need a little dilution with another oil.
