My psoriasis I'm learning is diet driven. I was a pepper freak! Every meal it was salsa or Old Bay or Challula and other hot sauces... pepper in every and on everything! By learning through a book on eating right for your blood type I started to avoid all peppers of all kinds. My blood type is the rarest and has weaker stomach acids than other types. I love Parmesan cheese but it s a killer to me, love bananas but the after taste never goes away. I experimented since January 2017 and continue to avoid all pepper products and my psoriasis improved significantly, but it s still there, it's just not as itchy and has diminished in size.

Hi, I have had psoriasis for 15 years. It goes and comes with health and lifestyle changes. Less stress, more sleep, healthy diet, hotter weather, sunshine and seawater all help. Recently i have had much more psoriasis than ever before due to extra stress on my body (pregnancy and breastfeeding). I have been gluten, sugar, caffeine, and cow dairy (i have goat cheese/milk etc) free for a while and i know that it helps. i also take a strong probiotic, and bath in apple cider vinegar (half a cup in a bath) regularly, and stay away from harsh soaps or chemicals. But recently i have added lemon or grapefruit juice in a glass warm water with half a teaspoon of tumeric powder and a quarter of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper every morning on an empty stomach. I have never felt better.... and after two weeks most of the psoriasis had gone and what was left was skin coloured and is slowly becoming normal skin. Its not just my skin either, i feel amazing all over.

I make a mix of aloe vera 100% gel (fruit of the earth)I bought it in walmart less than 4 dollars,I just filled a pills little bottle,(empty and clean, the one they give you in pharmacy) with the aloe, and I added like 2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper,i had to say that is very effective for me. I apply this with a q-tip only in my psoriasis after shower and before sleep,(only above my knees) in the morning I use tretraderm,( betametazone, clotrimazole and gentamicine)(in mexico the cost is less than 5 dollars), I believe is same formula as quadriderm. the cream works better for me below the knees(I have a big red area there)and in my elbows, and the cayenne with aloe works better for me above my knees(where I have the psoriasis marks like a pimple size)I don't know why maybe because the size of the affected area, but with the cayenne in two weeks I was clear(above my knees)and my shin and elbows.

I suffered from psoriasis for more than 20 years and was told by a doctor that it could not be cured. He prescribed a cream to help with the symptoms, but it didn't do much. Winter was always terrible for me. I read about apple cider vinegar and decided to try my own mixture. Twice a day (between meals) I took a glass of tepid water with a tablespoon of ACV, the juice of half a lemon, a quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and a teaspoon of raw honey. The pepper gives it a real kick! After a month my skin was smooth and my psoriasis was completely gone. Oh I also lost weight. Thanks for the inspiration.
