NO
For some people cilantro causes hives rather than cures it!

In reply to Star: Coriander/cilantro is widely used by hundreds of millions of people throughout Asia. It is rare to find someone who is so sensitive and allergic that they react to it. But it is a reminder that if you are using a new food for the first time and you are an allergic person, then test it first.

Cilantro also causes many people to break out in hives, makes them nauseous or lightheaded so be sure you are not allergic to it. I am!

YES
For those who are not allergic to it, fresh coriander gives relief to hives. You can drink it as a juice, or make a paste to apply to the skin. To make juice chop it and blend it with some water. To make a paste use a blender or a mortar and pestle. After pounding or blending the leaves and stalks, add a little water to make a thick paste. Leave the paste on the skin as long as convenient, at least 15 minutes, before gently washing off with cool water.
