hello. I've had a swelling at the base of my jaw inside under one of my molars, a tooth infection. I'm half way through a root canal treatment which I regret starting. I started oil pulling with sesame and coconut oil alternatively for several weeks. That helped shrink the lump infection in my mouth and get rid of any pain but still didnt get rid of the swelling. I got the idea to use magnesium chloride with a bit of DMSO. I'm using that now. The lump is rapidly shrinking. I use half teaspoon of magnesium chloride and a tiny amount of DMSO held in my mouth for 1 hour twice a day and will continue indefinately. I'm also using birch sugar xylitol to ward off tooth decay.

What's the concentration of the magnesium brine? I'm assuming its MgCl that you used? I use a magnesium oil on my body that I make from MgCl flakes using around 400gm per litre.

I started oil pulling over a month ago and I was swishing all day long because I have severe gum disease and want to heal. But despite some progress it for me seemed very slow. I thought if calcium is out of my teeth there might be not enough magnesium intake. So I bought magnesium oil and I tried swishing with it and I was amazed. From my teeth come out big pieces of plaque. Now I combine oil pulling with olive oil and after that magnesium oil. The time for magnesium oil I prefer to be longer - about 40 mins. Today is second day that I do magnesium oil pull. And I am very satisfied. Sorry for my poor english. I hope somebody will found this helpful.
