Works like a charm!! I dilute it with a little more water because I don't like spicy things much but it worked almost instaneously! Thank you!!!

Occasionally I get food stuck in my throat. I can breathe OK but it is sore and I can't swallow. There are waves of pain and it takes a couple of minutes until the food eventually swallows. Sometimes I can take a sip of water to help get it down, and other times there is so much pain I can't swallow anything - not even saliva. After years I've learned to avoid the triggers (eg raw carrots). I recently discovered that if I down a few drops of cayenne pepper tincture or powder mixed with a little water the food goes down easily. It appears that my mucus is thickening at the base of my throat and the cayenne seems to somehow dissolve it. Cayenne is a great quick fix for my issue. Maybe there is another root cause but this has really been a life saver for me. Thanks.

I've had throat problems for 20 years, a little but annoying pain, tickly cough, brown mucus. Doctors have not helpted and I have tried almost everything with little success. I found cayenne pepper gargle on this site, and I also added a little salt. The result is amazing, almost immediately my throat was back to normal, no pain and the mucus stopped. I have been gargling for 3 weeks now, and use a mix of cayenne, apple cider vinegar, salt & honey twice a day. I also use cayenne with my food. I am feeling very well and am delighted to have got rid of my long term throat problems.

Sometimes I get food stuck in my throat. I can breathe OK but I have a horrible pain and I can't swallow anything. I try to swallow over and over but the food doesn't go down. I try to cough and it doesn't help, and I have the feeling I need to vomit. If I take a sip of water it is even more painful, but then eventually I can feel the food move and there is instant relief. The worst foods to eat are bulky, non-oily, fibre like foods such as raw carrot, chicken breast and tinned fish in water rather than oil. I recently discovered that a quarter teaspoon of cayenne pepper mixed with half a glass of water seems to relax and relieve my throat, and somehow dissolves any mucus thickening at the base of my throat. Cayenne pepper is a great quick fix and relief
