Try using heat in different parts of the body. Some report that hot foot baths are beneficial. Fill a basin with hot water and soak the feet for 15 minutes every night before bed, for a couple of weeks. Sometimes a hot shower will help. Try filling a hot water-bottle, wrap it in a towel and rest your head on it.
