More energy, cleanses your body, and protects your intestines. I drink Kombucha with green tea, kim chee, pickled cucumbers, veggies, and homemade cream top milk yogurt. My health has improved greatly.

I have two possible cures for an itchy scalp. For 5 months now I have been bathing with a 1/2 cup or less of baking soda in my bath water. I had an itchy scalp for about 20 years. It has subsided. I noticed when I forget the baking soda, my scalp gets itchy. Also I make my own plain yogurt, cut out wheat, sugars, and eat and drink fermented items which may be also helping. Diet definitely has an effect on skin outbreaks.

I suggest taking a probiotic supplement, or making your own kefir, and / or sauerkraut or other live, unpasteurised lacto-fermented foods if you have taken a course of antibiotics in the last couple of years. Under ideal conditions, it takes at least 6 months to recover from a course of antibiotics. Establishing a full range and balance of bacteria in your gut, and on your skin is a long, slow process. Some people never recover, not knowing how important the "good" bacteria are, and always eating a hygenic, processed food diet. Try it - quality foods rich in good bacteria are only of benefit, and cannot be harmful.
