The best source of vitamin C is organic food. Many fruits and vegetables have high levels of vitamin C in an available and effective form. If you temporarily need to supplement, take a vitamin C supplement made from a fruit rather than one synthesised in a factory, as it will be far more effective.

YES My remedy for depression is liposomal vitamin C and zinc sulphate. It has been found that people suffering depression usually have a low vitamin C blood level. Using the liposomal form allows you to get more into the blood without causing diarrhoea or other problems in the gut. Take 6 grams of vitamin C a day until symptoms reside and then drop dose to 1 gram a day for 2 months. Do not use if pregnant or if you have high ferritin (iron) levels in the blood.
