Ailment: Conjunctivitis
Remedy: Coriander seed eyewash
Simmer a teaspoon of coriander seeds in a cup of water for 15-30 minutes. Cool and strain. This makes a cooling soothing eyewash, particularly good for conjunctivitis.

I have used coriander seeds decoction for my 5 and 7 yr old and myself. It works wonders, a sure cure. Just make sure you do frequent eyewashes during the day and continue for couple of days after even if the eye seems clear cause sometimes infection returns.

Myself and my 15 year old son have suffered from some bacterial infection in our eyes for some time now and over the counter drops such as Chlorsig didn't work so I researched some home remedies and found that Coriander seed juice really works well. It clears your whole eye but you must boil for a while until the water is quite brown.
