I diluted clean water 50/50 with apple cider vinegar and put a drop in my eye and it hurt so bad I dropped to my knees for a good 5-10 minutes before I could feel relief. I watched a YouTube video from a doctor and he said to use a wet cotton ball with a little ACV and wipe top and bottom. I did this with other eye and let it kinda seep in, it still hurt a bit but definitely not as bad as the concentrated drop. If you do use the drop method I would suggest 70/30 or even less dilution and see how you can handle it. Overall the apple cider vinegar gave me a lot of relief.

Night one it felt itchy and I did several warm water flushes thinking something was in my eye. Nothing seemed to work. By the next day it felt as though there was sand in my eye. Again warm water flushes. On the third day I went to the ER. 200 dollars later they gave me a 5ml bottle of Gentamicin 3mg. Used it up in four days. Still no better. Finally I used a 50/50 mix of boiled water and apple cider vinegar. It burns like hell at first but total relief after 3 treatments in 3 hours!

Had a bad cold that started with dripping sinuses and an extremely sore throat. After a week of that, I woke up in the middle of the night with a wall of liquid trailing down my cheeks, and my eyes were almost glued shut with conjunctivitis. When I woke up, I used warm water and unglued my eyes to see that they looked mildly red. I have never had pink eye before. Desperate after two weeks, I filled a little over a quarter of my dropper bottle with apple cider vinegar and the rest water that had been boiled. I did an eyewash first to get used to the sting, then I cracked my eyes and made the drops fall in, and once used to it, put a drop in the corners and under the eyelids every hour. After a day the pink was COMPLETELY GONE, and after two days I had no more discharge during the night or itching! Just make sure to keep it up, even after you think it's gone, and wash everything out near your eyes because you don't want it to come back!

I want to thank you for the apple vinegar remedy for conjunctivitis. After two different eye drops that only dried my eyes, mixing half boiled water and half apple cider vinegar in eye rinses took away the problem in a few hours.

I struggled for a couple of weeks with a pink eye infection. Read about the results some of your readers left. I used the apple cider vinegar fairly weak as I am a wimp. Within four days it is just about completely cured. Yay!!!!

My symptoms started with some gritty feeling irritation in my left eye. Over last weekend it progressed into something horrible. Viral pinkeye is what I have, and now in both eyes. During the week I had 2 optometrist visits and 2 ophthalmologists visits, and a total of 5 different eye drops, none worked for my viral pinkeye. I came across this site and read several reviews about apple cider vinegar. I used a 50-50 mix of boiled water and ACV, dip cotton ball in and squeeze it out leaving enough in the cotton ball to place a drop or two into the eye. I use separate cotton ball for each eye. I'm doing it every hour. I'm on my second hour and the relief is AMAZING. Why has the all natural way been so far down on my priority list, well it is truly number 1 now. I had a bad case of the viral pinkeye, I looked as through I had went 12 rounds with a boxer or 3 rounds mma. I want to thank the other people that shared their experiences. Without you all I would still be going through this viral nightmare. I will post my final results. Hope this helps the next person that is going through this. The sting from acv is rough but the results are well worth it.

My 10 year old daughter went theough a bad eye infection even our homeopath couldn't get rid of for weeks! After only one day of sterilized water (important to not use just tap water) and Bragg's ACV, it cleared up. It totally works! Better than all the other remedies. For kids, just dilute ACV more to take away some sting, like 10 to 1. I tried 12 to 1, but it didn't work as well because the pink eye was soooo bad.

Suffering from viral pink eye which I'm almost positive I caught from the tanning salon goggles for about 11 days now. I've had two ER trips because it is that bad and a trip to an eye specialist, all which prescribed different steroids with antibiotics in it. Nothing has worked and it looked like I got punched in the eye. Also the pain is unbearable. It feels like I had a chopped onion just sitting on my eye and when I wake up it feels like my eye is drowning lol. Home remedy time! Tried a potatoe nope, coconut oil nope but that did soothe the outer dryness, cucumbers nope, Braggs apple cider vinegar YEESSS!!! Just did the vinegar and warm water no measurement, just an equal part of each on a cotton ball and gently dabbed it on my eye letting some drip in. Good god after the sting what a sweet relief! Still feels bruised but I can deal with that!

I woke up with pink eye after a fever, body ache, headache, tired. I made up lemon juice, honey, turmeric, ACV. I drank a glass of that the night before. The fever broke, body ache, headache gone. I now had pink eye. I put a few drops of apple cider vinegar on a wet cotton ball and wiped the eye, thinking it would be painful. It was not bad, I rinse it out when it stings. I used colloidal sliver water as eye drops. The next day it was no longer red and was back to normal. I used to go to the doctor pay for the visit and get drops. It would take 5 days to clear up.

First relief I have had in 13 days. 1 tsp apple cider vinegar in 12 tsp cold water. I used antibiotic drops for 10 days with no effect.
