Boil a couple of cups of water, put it in a container. Add about 5-10 drops of eucalyptus oil or tea tree oil. Lean over the bowl, cover your head with a towel. Breathe the steam for a few minutes or as long as feels good.
This will relieve congestion, and has an anti-viral and anti-bacterial effect.

If you are clogged up or have sinus pain steam inhalation is an old traditional remedy. It feels good, and you can combine it with some of the other remedies. It is particularly useful to get phlegm buildup to flow. You can also add a couple of drops of tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil to the hot water.
