Apply tea tree oil to the blister and surrounding area 3-4 times per day. Neat tea tree oil may be a little too strong for some people - use very little, or apply it with a wet cotton wool tip, or dilute with a little coconut or other oil. Most people report that the outbreak is gone within 1-2 days.
