I have acid reflux and a jock itch infection. May even have Candida. I have been using apple cider vinegar for only four days and noticing a huge benefit. Love this stuff!

I am 73 years of age and have many bouts of asthma through out my life. Most of the time I've been on Ventolin puffers. However my wife recently bought some Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar and told me to start taking it. I was loath to start but did as my better half was instructing. I've been taking the ACV now for around two months, I no longer have reflux problems and my asthma has stopped. I will be taking ACV on a daily basis from now on. Thanks to my wife Mary.

All you need for acid reflux is a couple teaspoons of undiluted lemon juice. Apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar also work. Just swallow it.

I took apple cider vinegar in the morning and ten minutes before every meal. A tablespoon of ACV with 2 inches of water. You may need a dose before bed as well. It works!

I had a terrible cough with acid reflux for 6 months and have tried everything. The doctor put me on Omeprazole which still didn't relieve the cough and after reading about side effects of the medication I decided to try apple cider vinegar. I use Braggs organic and take two teaspoons in 8 oz warm water with a teaspoon of baking soda twice a day, first thing in the morning and another when I get home from work so late afternoon. My cough and acid reflux stopped within 3-4 days. I have also cut out wheat and sugars as they are triggers for me as well. I still enjoy a glass of wine but can't eat chocolate. I have lapsed a little bit this past week and my symptoms are creeping back so you still have to be pretty vigilant but the apple cider vinegar really works. Be sure to use the baking soda because apple cider vinegar does make your teeth sensitive so I brush my teeth each time I use it. Best of luck to everyone Marie, Manchester, England

I've had acid reflux on and off. The worse I had it was for a week and I felt the burning several times and day and it was just awful when I laid down. I kept taking antacids but when that stopped working I googled other remedies and started taking the apple cider vinegar and daily probiotics. And it worked! After only a couple of days it was completely gone. I stopped taking it once gone but now having it again and the apple cider doesn't seem to work on its own. Back on to probiotics again as well.

I have burning under breasts into back. Hiatal hernia and acid reflux. Just started drinking the apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp in an 8 oz glass of water. Has anyone had this burning under breasts?

I have developed horrible reflux in the past few weeks, at one point I was up 60 hours because I could not lie down. I was given PPIs but they just seemed to make matters worse, and antacids did not help at all. My esophagus was badly inflamed. I tried various remedies like aloe vera juice, coconut milk, I cut all carbs from my diet... but nothing helped, it just got worse. Then I read about apple cider vinegar.. I thought it was rubbish since it is so acidic, and the doctor told me I need to do everything I can to neutralize the stomach acid. I took two tablespoons of the apple cider vinegar, and within an hour the reflux has stopped. That was was three days ago. I've been taking it every 4-5 hours now everyday, and the reflux has not come back once. This website Grow Youthful has a page that explains the cause of reflux. Basically when your stomach does not have enough stomach acid, it will churn violently to use what little acid it has to digest your food. This churning is what forces the juices up into your esophagus. If you add acid, such as the vinegar, your stomach detects the higher acidity and will calm down immediately and stop churning.. and the reflux stops. If you have a weak esophagus valve, then plentiful stomach acidity is vital, as any amount of churning will cause immediate reflux. Sadly PPIs actually lower stomach acid production, which is why it will just get worse for most people on those drugs. If someone with minor reflux takes PPIs, he will develop major reflux for example. The stomach acid is countered by PPIs so at first the burning is less intense, but eventually it will still eat through your esophagus lining and cause inflammation, and then even a tiny amount of acid coming up will cause intense heartburn.

I take two times every day, it is since last year I don't need anymore Rabeprazole, that I used to consume for 10 years before.
