Salt. What kind of salt is by far the best, how much to take, which salts to avoid.

YES
My 18 year old niece noticed a red bump on her arm, and after three days it had grown to a quarter inch welt. We could see two fang marks, the top of the welt was crusty black and red streaks were developing. It was a little painful and itchy. It was a spider bite, but we didn't know what kind of spider. We wet the bite, covered it with sea salt and bandaged it up. Took it off after two hours, washed it, and repeated the salt treatment. After the first two hours, the size had decreased. We did the treatment one more time before she went to bed. She said the salt stung a little. The next day the site was all but dried up, no more pain or itching.
