I have eye lash mites not sure how I got them or where they came from. My first symptom was my face was itching really bad one day. I never seen anything then I felt something moving around my eyelashes. It took me several nights before I could see it and it was like a little worm crawling across my lashes, freak me out. I started trying to figure out what was going on and how to get rid of it. The only thing that was coming up on the internet was tea tree oil so I tried that. I noticed that they were not running around as much, but they would not go away. I went to my Dr she ask me was I crazy or something and that hurt. I tried again to help myself with baby shampoo, that works but what was in my eye lashes was too far gone. My Dr gave me some names of eye doctors who said I have some type of lava in my eyes that the mites formed. I take every 12 hours Doxycycline Hyclate 100mg capsules and an ointment Erythromycin Ophthalmic which I use with baby shampoo. I have been taking the meds now going on 4 weeks and I see little change, these mites run all night. I do notice the ointment slow them down but before I put it into my eye before bed I feel them running. I also have them in my hair it does not itch, but my hair started coming out. I use medicated shampoo and I use tea tree shampoo with matching conditioner. I put the tea tree conditioner in at night and I brush it in really good, tied up my hair for a day the next day the mites were every where a good number of them came out. Now I am really hoping for a way to get rid of these things, I don't know what else to do. I have a bar of pure tea tree soap that I leave on my face at night and I bath with it and it helps. If someone knows something else please let me know I want them gone Thank you

YES
I used Sulphur 8 shampoo for mites, it works great, leave in when washing hair. Baby shampoo kills mites on eye lids. Everyone has mites, the cleaner you are when you wash with these items, the lower the count. Once a day is fine till you get rid of the bulk of them, them max once a week showers. Colloidal silver on eyelashes gets rid of the mites in lash roots.

YES
'Head and Shoulders' brand shampoo. Used as an ointment but wet and kept wet will progressively clean off your skin and kill the mites.
