Some people say that only the golden raisins work, not other types. The gin must also be made using juniper berries. Soak the raisins in the gin for 1 - 2 weeks, until they are fully reconstituted. Take between 5 - 10 raisins per day, you work out how many you need after a while.

I researched gin soaked raisins. You must use golden raisins (no sulfur dioxide) and gin (Junipero and Gordon's for high juniper berry content). I use a heaping teaspoon per day and after a few days my knee pain disappeared. I can tell when I forget, the pain returns. There is a warning about taking it long term... I've used it for three and a half months and nothing negative to report. I'm watching for any side effects.
