Ailment: Hiatus hernia
Remedy: Ginger tea
Take a piece of fresh ginger, the size of your thumbnail, or bigger if you like your tea strong. Crush it, put it in a mug and fill with hot or boiling water. Leave it to steep for 5 minutes.
Fresh ginger is available at most grocers and Asian stores. Dried ginger powder has different properties and is not as effective. Similarly, ginger tea bags are not very effective.

YES
I’ve had mild asthma all my life - so mild I rarely used my inhaler. In October 2019 my husband and I came down with some sort of chest cold. His went away mine did not. The whole time we were off for the Covid pandemic I was severely sick. My chest sounded like frog from all the build-up of phlegm. I am not a doctor person where I run to the doctor for everything therefore I struggled for some time before I started seeking out doctors for answers. My new family doctor asked me to breathe into a machine and said I was fine. I was so irritated as I kept telling her I could breathe with no problem but it’s a festering in my chest where there’s something wrong. I went to see another doctor who found an upper hiatal hernia which can cause problems of clearing your throat. I had known I had a hiatal hernia for years before they told me that so I didn’t buy into that was what was causing me a problem. I next went to see a pulmonary doctor who said you have severe asthma and your lungs are weak right now so you cannot have the hiatal hernia surgery, so they gave me albuterol steroid. I was struggling at this point and was so miserable that I figured I’m going to try anything and everything till I figure this out, so I started buying all kinds of products over the Internet that were natural remedies. Eventually I stumbled upon cayenne pepper and I was drinking ginger tea at the time. I started adding cayenne pepper to my ginger tea. It’s now November 2021 and I’ve been taking it for about five months. I can't believe the difference - I'm still not completely healed but I feel 90% better. I find myself having to take it in the morning before I go to work because my job is quite active therefore my lungs want to act up more but I‘m not complaining because now I have more of a life. If this can help just one person writing this review was well worth it. God bless and good luck.
