Had an EXTREMELY painful Baker's cyst (Popliteal cyst) on one knee. Could only sleep in a recliner, hobble to kitchen for food and to bathroom. Doctor wanted to do surgery. I refused to allow him to injure my already ailing knee. Someone told me about castor oil packs. I applied a pack to my knee with a heating pad. Felt SO good to my knee that I slept all night forgetting to remove the pack and heating pad. Usually walk my dog 2 miles twice daily. Out of force of habit, when I woke up I got dressed had forgotten all about the castor oil pack on my knee. I took my dog for our usual walk. We were halfway through our walk when I remembered the two weeks of pain and was stunned that our lives were back to normal with just ONE treatment. Since then I've even applied castor oil pack to the abdomen of a baby raccoon I'd rescued. One night he wouldn't go to sleep and kept crying as if he was in pain. Within minutes of applying the castor oil pack heating pad to his little tummy, he was asleep and the next day he was back to normal. I make sure I always have a very large bottle of organic castor oil in my home for hair treatments. My hairdresser is amazed at the improvement in my hair. I also use it for skin treatments, sprains so many things.
