YES
I have self-diagnosed myself with scabies. I also have a doctor-diagnosed MRSA infection in a toe. It started the beginning of March, about six weeks ago with a toe infection from a frequently recurring ingrown toenail. In spite of my best efforts to appropriately sanitize everything, my toe became badly infected. My podiatrist wanted to completely remove my toenail, he said it was the best way to eliminate that bit of fungus on the tip of my nail and forever prevent the ingrown nail from coming back. But the procedure required cauterizing the nailbed on one side so the nail on that side never grows back. On top of that, he warned me about the heavy long term anti biotics I’d have to take. No! I’ll find methods and cure myself, thanks anyway. To add to my misery, I started itching all over, particularly at night. Sometimes it was three or more hours before I could finally sleep from all the skin crawling and itching sensations. Now I’m broken out all over with a rash. Still itching but found ways to keep it at bay. I’m on a 3 week MMS protocol for the MRSA, started last Friday. I’m seeing improvement every day. The skin rash seems to wax and wane. Based on my research I’ve determined that I very like have scabies, and that they’re a bitch to get rid of. Thank God I don’t have little ones or others to look out for. It’s been a full time job dealing with this. Two or three baths a day trying all kinds of stuff from apple cider vinegar to gum spirits of turpentine to clove oil with coconut oil. Currently doing a ton of daily laundry and setting up a system where I bag and store clothes, towels, linens. For those who are going through the same thing, I’m with you.
