Remedy Numerous approaches
I'm a 75 year old male. Chronic Sciatica required numerous approaches. Inflammation control: These included daily magnesium baths (2 cups of Epsom Salts or magnesium chloride) mixed with borax (1.5 cups) in a warm bath for 30 to 60 minutes. A wakeup drink of 1/2 ounce to one-ounce DMSO mixed with 5 grams of MSM in 4 ounces of lukewarm distilled water (daily). An afternoon golden tea (teaspoon of turmeric, half-teaspoon of ginger, half-teaspoon of cinnamon, and teaspoon of 90,000 heat units of cayenne mixed together in 4 ounces of very warm (not hot) almond milk. Physical therapy:
Twice daily, various stretches for the thighs, buttocks, and lower back plus strengthening exercises for the lower back. Daily walks of 5 to 6 kilometers (about 3-4 miles). Also twice daily, a "Teeter" board to hang up-side-down to decompress the vertebra. And finally: Organic whole foods, meditation, good sleep and avoidance of sitting any more than necessary. Two months, after implementing the above program, my chronic sciatica was cured. Plus, other problems like high blood pressure dropped from an average of 145/80 to 112/62 along with a nice reduction in weight and the waist size.
