For several years I had severe abdominal and stomach pain. Occasionally after a big meal I would have a little acid reflux, but neither I nor my doctors thought this heartburn was the cause of the problem. Instead they labelled my problem as "anxiety". I was given a prescription for losec (prilosec), after discussing proton pump inhibitors protonics, nexium and zantac. Also an antibiotic tablet klacid. None of them helped - after a few weeks they made the pain and episodes of reflux worse. I started to do my own research, and was reading on this site about how most people have low stomach acid, and the use of apple cider vinegar. I am taking a glass of water with two teaspoons of ACV three times per day, away from meals. WOW! I had almost immediate relief! Also, no episodes of reflux since. I am amazed at the doctor's lack of knowledge - how such a simple cure can work so fast and yet they don't use it. Other benefits - more energy, I sleep better, and apparently, much less snoring. Thank you!!!

I'm 60, and a couple of years ago had several ailments that have now been cured. On my scalp, and also my right hand there were rough dry scaly patches like a yellow-white crust, which I had for several years making my hand and balding head look ugly. Nothing that I tried could ever heal it. My doctor said that it was Solar Keratosis (also known as an actinic keratosis). He said there was no real cure, but they could be frozen off or cut out. If I left them, that there was a chance that they could eventually turn into a skin cancer like squamous cell carcinoma. After some research I decided to try apple cider vinegar instead. I bought some unpasteurised ACV that contained the mother. It took a month of drinking 3 glasses per day of water, ACV and half a teaspoon of raw honey, and also applying the neat ACV directly to the keratoses with a cotton wool tip. My skin is now smooth, the keratoses have virtually healed. The skin all over my body looks better. I also feel really good. I had been feeling quite depressed and down. There had been cycles of depression for years. Since starting the ACV my depression seems to have lifted. I sleep better, I am not restless, the mood swings have diminished. I have so much energy I can't remember being like this for many years. My usual aches and pains have virtually disappeared. ACV is the cheapest and most effective remedy I have ever tried. Thank you so much

I had acid reflux for several years. After taking raw, unpasteurised apple cider vinegar, I had immediate relief after the very next meal, and constant improvement over the following week. It is now three months later, and I haven't had a single episode of heartburn.
Take a between one and three teaspoons of raw organic ACV in a glass of water 10 - 20 minutes before a meal. I usually digest the meal well, especially if it is a high-protein meal (esp. meat, fish, dairy). The acid in the ACV helps to digest protein. It stops reflux (heartburn) very effectively.
Also, a small quantity of acidic water after a meal helps to wash out any food particles that may be stopping the LES valve from closing properly. The acidity also helps it to close correctly, and helps with digestion.
I have also noticed that my skin quality has improved, I have more energy, and sleep better.
