Red cabbage is probably the best natural source of L-glutamine. You can juice red cabbage, shred it in salads, or best of all, make sauerkraut with it. Red cabbage sauerkraut made with apple cider vinegar may be one of the most bioavailable ways to consume L-glutamine. It is easily absorbable, and rich in enzymes and probiotic bacteria and fungi. Other food sources include bone stock/broth, spirulina, broccoli, asparagus and organic poultry.
