Grow Youthful: How to Slow Your Aging and Enjoy Extraordinary Health

Ailment: Breastfeeding problems

Remedy: Asafoetida

Asafoetida is the dried gum of the underground rhizome or tap root of several species of ferula, a small perennial herb. Also known as stinking gum, devil's dung, asant, food of the gods, giant fennel, hing and ting. It is native to Iran and India. Asafoetida has a strong, unpleasant smell when raw, reminiscent of smelly feet and garlic. However, when cooked it has a smooth flavor, somewhat like leeks and garlic.
It is an antimicrobial and antiviral herb. It assists digestion, helps with asthma and bronchitis, is an antiepileptic, has contraceptive and abortifacient properties, and balances the vata dosha.

YES
I'm a homeopath and for nursing mothers Asafoetida has been used for centuries. As much as the size of a match stick's head should be dissolved in little milk and given to the mother thrice daily for very good results. I've verified it in my clinic very often. The other method is to give it in 3x homeopathic potency.
