NO
Hi folks! Well I said I'd let you know how I got on with the Flowers of Sulphur for my seborrheic dermatitis, so here it is. Not good news to date unfortunately. Presumably my skin has altered over the years, I know it has become more sensitive as I was diagnosed with atopic eczema not long ago also, so the FOS brought my neck out in an itchy rash even though I hadn't actually dusted that part with it. I am left wondering whether the product I ordered was indeed 'pure,' though it said it was and I purchased it from a reputable online seller. It appeared to bring smaller insignificant spots to the surface too, but maybe that was part of my reaction to it. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know my findings as it may help someone in a similar position.

YES
I remember my mum putting this on my face during my teens (about 45 years ago) because I had very bad acne. After squeezing out each spot, some big one's too, she disinfected them and dusted my face with flowers of sulphur which I left on at night. It took about 3-4 weeks to get rid of all the spots, but it healed beautifully. Now I'm in my late fifties, have a combination of atopic and seborrheic dermatitis. I was given protopic (Tacrilimus ointment) by the dermatologist which proved effective, but they couldn't tell me what to use when I wasn't using this. I think I've most probably spent a small fortune trying to find a daily alternative, but most seem to make it worse or clog my pores, despite scrutinizing the ingredients first. Flowers of sulphur, a fine, yellow, and rather amazing product recently sprang to mind. I bought some of this sulphur powder online, though it is also available from garden suppliers and livestock feed suppliers. Several local chemists and health stores all looked at me in total bewilderment when I asked about it! It worked again on my dermatitis, only took a few days.
