YES I sometimes get cold sores, usually after a period of stress. The best thing for me is to apply a little sour cultured yogurt to the sore, three times a day. I guess home-made milk kefir would also work well. The active micro-orgaisms in the yogurt seem to combat the virus, reducing itching and helping the sore to heal faster.
